Welcome...

...to the website! Rather than simply being a platform for self promotion I would also like it to be informative for anyone who dabbles in the world of guitar or music making in general.

On the site can be found the usual biography and gallery pages but I also include a section on the equipment that I find most useful in the world of being a working guitarist. This ties in with the educational resources I will be adding to the site such as transcriptions and other study material.

There are also pages dedicated to my creative projects and links to audio and maybe some video too. I hope to keep this up to date.

Thanks for looking!

Biography

Tim has been a professional guitarist since 1995. In this time he has played with many artists including Gerry Marsden, Dave Dee, Mike d’Abo, Mike Pender, Roger Whittaker, Matt Monro Junior, Toyah Willcox, Shaun Williamson, Ron Moody, Brian Conley, The Nolans, Robin Cousins, Al Martino, PJ Proby, Gerard Kenny, David Essex, Carol Decker, Cheryl Baker, Jimmy Osmond and Randy Brecker.

Tim works extensively in London’s West End having played on Footloose, Saturday Night Fever, Evita, Jersey Boys, Betty Blue Eyes, Priscilla, Shrek, Thriller Live and Grease on which he held the guitar chair for three and a half years.

Tim also has a few side projects on the go including a guitar duo with Andy Philip. There is also a CD available on iTunes by Ragin’ Hormones called ‘how it starts’. This is an album of original fusion material played by a quartet of guitar, bass, drums and sax.

2012 should see the formation of a twin guitar jazz rock band too! Watch this space. Tim also plays jazz gigs and functions, like all good working musos!
